charming hotel close to the camino with lovely terraces
my stay was fantastic, enjoying a delightful lunch on the terrace and receiving a warm welcome with fresh orange juice upon arrival, which made me feel right at home after a long day of walking the camino. the hosts truly strive to make your experience authentic and enjoyable, but breakfast starting at 8 am meant I had to plan my mornings a bit more carefully.

the host was stressed about her problems instead of focusing on providing us a warm welcome, which was absurd for such pricey accommodations. also, breakfast was delayed, forcing us to wait around like we were at a diner. i woudl ve appreciated some complimentary treats since i wasn't treated like royalty. just couldn’t give a good review, sadley.

The interior decoration features family photographs and memorabilia, offering insights into local history. Amenities include a comfortable bed and plentiful hot water in the shower/bath.
Waiting outside the hotel until opening time can be inconvenient, especially for weary travelers. Additionally, not serving dinner due to kitchen problems detracts from the overall experience.

The warm hospitality from the owners made our stay memorable, especially with a small baby in tow. We enjoyed delicious meals prepared by Leo, highlighting local flavors and offerings. The village's rich history is beautifully displayed through charming decorations throughout the hotel.
In my wife’s opinion, a children’s play area would have enhanced our visit.

Had a fantastic time with friends at this lovely family-run place. Gemma's warm welcome made us feel right at home, and Leo's dishes were a highlight—definitely fresh and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was so inviting, and we enjoyed gathering around the dinner table after visiting the nearby towns. Highly recommend this charming retreat for anyone traveling along the Camino.
Although the experience was wonderful, we faced a small issue with breakfast starting a bit late, which slowed down our morning plans.

Solo traveler relaxation
Found a real gem after a long day on the road. Gemma and Leo, the hosts, went above and beyond, especially with the dinner menu that had real variety and flavor, not the usual pilgrims fare.
It wasn't inexpensive but honestly, worth every euro for the experience.
